This is perhaps one of the best consoles ever, it is well rounded, fast, easy to use, intuitive, good build quality and just incredible.
Perhaps one of the most useful features is its wireless capability, not only with the WiFi enabling online gaming quickly, but also networking your PS3 as a media console able to access music from your PC and play it in your anywhere. Added to this is the wireless controllers which to me is a god send as I have two dogs who always used to pull the cable out when they walked past with the PS2! Wireless controllers not only stops this, but much more freedom in movement and just easier.
GT5 is an incredible game, perhaps slightly limited on gameplay but this is more than made up for in the fantastic online environment and graphics which are breath-taking.
I would recommend also getting Burnout Paradise with this for the extra £15, as this is an awesome game, less serious in driving style than GT5 but the graphics are just as mind-blowing.
This console is best enjoyed in HD, so if you have a HD TV then sit back and enjoy HD gaming out of the box and Blu-Ray DVD.
This deal is the best on the internet right now, I stalled buying the console until prices became a little more reasonable (less than £300) and then when i saw this deal with console, GT5, HDMI cable and another game for £305 delivered, i just could not resist it. Amazon service was brilliant as per usual the whole package coming within 48 hours.
5* to the console, 5* to the game and 5* to Amazon.
Buy it, now.

I was very lucky to have Won this console back in March. I entered the Gran Turismo UK Championship, You had to set the fastest time in a 2 Lap race around London's famous track they created in the game Rules were you had to do a 2 lap race with AI Cars on the track at the same time so that made it very hard to get the fastest lap time. In the end i was Region 7 Winner which was in HMV London Oxford Street. The competition was held over 10 Regions in the UK. My friend Aly winning Region 8 Zavvi Store also on Oxford Street Won himself this bundle too. The game is an outstanding representation on what the final Gran Turismo 5 will offer and with updates coming this year to this game such as Crash Damage and also in a future update we will expect the Nurburgring Nordschleife famous racing course. Shame i already own a PS3 so i am selling this one :) Can't wait till GT5!

BUY THIS BUNDLE> firstly let me say that the ps3 is great. i have been wondering whether to get the ps3 or the xbox and boy am i glad i got the ps3. graphics are amazing and the game play is good. also Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is not a demo. this is the best price your going to find for a ps3 and an amazing game so don't hesitate, just get it now. i also recomend getting the game Drake's fortune which is the best game i have ever played..

This console is just unreal and i recommend this to anyone who enjoy the playstation consoles. It has unreal graphics and FREE online. Its blu-ray is just amazing and the HD just enhances the experience. Xbox 360 just costs too much. you have to pay monthly and its just not worth it when you can get just as good online for free. When i bought the Ps3 i was absolutely blown away by the Sixaxis controllers, they are like wii controllers as on some games you can move the controller and it will turn your car or move a person in the direction you moved the controller. The graphics however, are just amazing. Very nearly realistic and when you play its like you recorded it on camera because the graphics are just so good. Gran turismo 5 prologue is such a brilliant game. It makes you feel like you ARE the driver. You have all the advantages and disadvantages from real life in the game. Your car can get damaged, grip increases speed and many other things.
Don't miss your chance to get the bundle. You will not regret it.
 Problem with the BD lasers February 3, 2009

My PS3 stopped reading any disc tonight, checking the internet and talking to support it appears to be a very very common problem.
It appears they last about a year if you watch Blu ray movies.
