| Customer Reviews: the best one yet June 2, 2009 slayerad2000 (NEWTOWN,WALES) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
without doubt the best guitar hero game to date.
spanning albums from kill 'em all to death magnetic this game has the best song selection i have seen ( & i have all the guitar hero games)
31 metallica tracks ( 3 bonus tracks from death magnetic are revealed when you finish the thing that should not be) & 21 tracks from bands that have influenced metallica over the years
unlike other guitar hero games it's not filled with rubbish filler songs
loads of unlockable items included (costumes, band members, guitars, basses)
i've not tried the expert+ mode on the drums yet (still on easy i'm afraid)
but drums are more like playing real drums than world tour
a must buy for all metallica & metal fans
Awesome - Metal Militia October 6, 2009 Stevieboy (London, England) I am a serious Metallica fan and having played this game a lot, I can only fault one thing - hence the four stars.
I don't know whether the final product was rushed, as all the other platforms were released before the PS2 version, but it is very glitchy...
If I want to play bass in some of the songs after playing guitar in lots of the others, for some reason the bass track is one beat behind. It sounds very strange and I suppose I could've put it down to my PS2 getting a little hot. However this is not an excuse when it happens as soon as I start to play the game after the PS2 has been off all night!
Apart from that little moan, this is an excellent game and a must have for all the Metal Militia out there.
Amazing game, great improvement on previous GHs August 27, 2009 G. L. Parsons (London, UK) Excellent game; slower to load songs and move between menus, but more features than other GHs (2, 3). Works with other guitars but didn't with a regular USB PlayStation2 mic, which was a little disappointing. Excellent range of songs and difficulty levels and options, would recommend it to anyone!
guitar hero August 3, 2009 P. Gerdes-Brough (Bedfordshire UK) continuing in the vein of the other guitar heros games this one does not dissapoint, the selection of song plus the option of guest artists will appeal to all even if you are not a major Metallica fan, definatley one for the collection.
Guitar Hero Metallica August 3, 2009 D. Clarke (Lancs, UK.) Bought this as a birthday present for my husband. He already has Guitar Hero I, II & III. He loves this but he's a real metal head. The kids love the other Guitar Hero games, but the tracks on Guitar Hero Metallica are a bit heavy for them. Overall a good game for anybody into this band.
