Indiana Jones - The Adventure Continues. November 20, 2009 Willa Mercy (England) 33 out of 33 found this review helpful
Having enjoyed all the previous DS Lego games I was really looking forward to this one - and in lots of ways it doesn't disappoint. The storyline so far features The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull very heavily and Indy is more than up to the task with whip upgrades, puzzles and new characters.
The only downside (and it is a biggy) is that the designers have changed the 'homebase' layout totally. You now are based on a stretch of beach and to get to the various levels you have to scroll through the pages of a book - sounds simple but you spend a lot of time wandering around thinking 'where do I go next' or 'what am I supposed to be doing?' - it's not a straightforward process of starting at A and getting to B as in the previous games. This is not to say that change isn't good - but in this case the instructions assume you have played the previous games and are very sparse indeed.
Overall, it is still great fun - but could be quite a steep learning curve and patience may be required!
Great sequel December 7, 2009 Benbur 2 out of 2 found this review helpful

Really good fun June 18, 2010 Mr. D. R. Jones (St.Asaph, Denibighshire United Kingdom) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Ok, I first played Indy 1 on the DS and loved it, but, only managed to get to around 89% before giving up.
Indy 2, on the other hand, managed to stay with me until I reached the magical 100%. Why?
If you read tyhe reviews, people don't seem to like it compared to the first game and upon starting indy 2, I know what they mean. Instead of easy level access, you have to runa round an Island but by the time I was half way through, I appreciated the fact that Indy 2 is ever so slightly more complex, maybe a smidgen harder than Indy 1 and overall, a better game.
Overall, Indy 2 is obviously Indy 1 but slightly bigger. I recommend Indy 1 'and' two as they are both fanatastic games. By the way, I'm 34 :) Suitable for all ages
