Does what it says on the tin May 30, 2009 Radiosutch (Guernsey) 42 out of 42 found this review helpful
Executive Summary
Good value for money, recommended for HD video and ordinary digital cameras as well as with a laptop.
I wanted a couple of extra SDHC cards for my holidays as I didn't want to take my laptop with me to transfer data from my existing cards. Here's a tip from long experience, it doesn't go down well with the ladies to be fiddling around with your PC when on holidays in exotic places!
My Panasonic SD9 HD video camera certainly uses a lot of capacity to record 1080 video. After several days comparing the choices these cards were the best value Class 6 cards for the money I could find on Amazon. Yes the 32GB cards would have been better but at a tremendous cost. I got two of these for less cost than 1 32GB card.
Worked absolutely fine, no juddering missing frames, no errors. As a bonus it also worked in my Nikon P5100. My tip, for HD video you need Class 6 cards,
At these prices I am considering the cards for long term storage rather than keeping the files on a PC.
I have also used one with my laptop as a removeable disc to keep my back up files on.

I recently purchased this card for my Ki8 camcorder and it works a treat. Great capacity and speed, along with a superb price tag.
Here is a rundown on how much this card can store;
Video: (Durations provided by Kodak ki8 HD camcorder)
- VGA = 6 hours 50 minutes
- 720p(30fps) = 4 hours 16 minutes
- 720p(60fps) = 2 hours 50 minutes
- 1080p(30fps) = 2 hours 50 minutes
Pictures: (Storage limit provided by Canon 450D)
- ~3.5M = >9999
- ~6.5M = >5500
- 12M = >3279
- *Raw = 876
- *Raw+12M = 692 (*Raw on this camera is .Cr2 So file size will differ)
Storage capacity will differ from camera to camera but here's a base chart for the 450D :)

Bought for use with Panasonic FZ38 camera and seems to work perfectly well (2 days of use to date). Meets the standard recommended in the camera manual for recording video (i.e. Class 6) though I haven't tried any video yet.
Comes with plastic box for storing it when not in your camera - some cheaper ones lack the box. That said, I suspect the boxes are worth about 5p if you know where to go, and if you've owned an SD/SDHC card before you've probably got a spare box already.
Capacity reported in the FZ38 manual: 2340 12 Megapixel pics at the higher of the two JPEG qualities offered, or 2 hours of AVCHD Lite filming at the highest of the 3 qualities listed). So if you take an empty card on a 3-week holiday, you can snap 70 shots a day and record about 40 minutes of film.

The item listed is a typical 16GB class 6 SDHC card. It works perfectly fine with my TZ7 Panasonic Lumix. Shooting HD is smooth with it with no errors. In case you didn't notice, it's very reasonably priced as well. You don't dish out extra money for anything.
Excellent memory card December 22, 2009 M. Hall (UK) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Bought this 16GB card for my Kodak Zi8 HD camcorder as I wanted plenty of storage, a fast card for a reasonable price. This fitted the bill perfectly, and I've no complaints. Now use it for my Casio EX-H10 and the reports are much the same - I'm well pleased.
Came well protected in a small plastic snap case which I shall keep it in. Works fine in my card reader built into my Compaq laptop, and is recognized almost instantly.
No problems - I would recommend this card even though I usually stick to Sandisk/Sony.
