The product itself just does what it says - it's a charger for your Garmin ;)

Normally you wuldnt need it, because you can charge your device through the USB cable from your PC;
However if you want to travel somewhere leaving your car and computer at home but still would like to have the convenience of a "local map of a foreign town at your fingertip" - then the mains charger comes extremely handy.

This charger makes it much easier to take a fully charged Sat Nav out in the car with you. It is a lot cheaper than I have found anywhere else and works well.

Bought this charger to charge satnav out of car, unwrapped it plugged it in and charged the satnav,
light and easy to take with you anywhere.
Can't go wrong at the price.
