This HP product is one of the easist to use and yet delivers quality printed material, including glossy pictures. It took less than a half hour to set it up.
It is very user friendly and prints great pictures. This printer does it all, copy, scan and print. It accepts memory cards from my camera which I can print directly on photo paper in the printer, or load the photos to a file on my computer hard drive. The only drawback I can point out is that it does not accept a flash memory stick.
The price was real good. I'm running it on XP had no problems setting it up if you do what the sofeware tells you to do. Have had no paper jams not a ink hog.
All round a nice printer for a nice price.

I bought the HP C4480 copier / scanner / printer because I wanted to upgrade from my entry-level Lexmark printer due to the fact that I have started my own business.
I considered the equivalent models from Lexmark and Epson, but in the end chose the HP because it was not only technically as good as the competition, but also seemed better designed, neater looking and more compact.
Having installed the HP and used it for a couple of days, I am absolutely delighted with it. Installation was easy - even for a technophobe like me. Most importantly, the print quality is absolutely superb, both printing straight from the computer and photocopying paper documents. The photocopy quality is as good as the most expensive copying machine, albeit a bit slower - each copy takes about 10 seconds to print.
The controls are well laid out and simple to use. There are three main buttons - 'scan', 'black and white photocopy' and 'colour photocopy' - that's it! There are sockets for SD/XC/MMC cards along with MS/DUO.
Overall, an excellent, user-friendly printer / copier / scanner. Strongly recommended.

I have just purchased this item and it was just what I have been looking for,as the previous review has really said it all, really nice compact all in one,very easy to set up just put in the disc and follow the instructions, and the printout is brilliant ,produces lovely photos, still got a lot to learn with it which will be interesting but just follow the instructions given when prompted no manual came in the box in English,I inquired just incase I might ever need it(probably won't) and the seller replyed quickly with the answer that it can be downloaded on line ,I looked at a few printers and then seen the rewiew for this one so it was good at helping me make my mind up it was really helpfull and the price was great also, the ink cartridges needed will not be as expensive as my last printer so in all a great buy.

I wanted a fairly compact printer/scanner/copier that would fit on my desk. I needed it to use for home office purposes and for editing and printing my own photos. This seems to fit the bill nicely. It's got a viewscreen and two card slots, so I can view photos without even using my pc. It's really simple to use and and quick to print. I found it installed with Vista without any difficulty and I did not have to uninstall my previous printer first.
Up to now I've had no problems. Photo quality is good, and I can get lab quality inks to use with this if I want to. Overall a good buy for the money.

I have just purchased this printer, and it is one of my better choices when it comes to buying tech stuff. Its very easy to set up and easy to use. The quality on the prints are excellent, would recommend it if you are looking for an all in one printer. Looking forward to using all its features.
