great quality product that delivers all that it promises. January 14, 2009 Sugi (UK) 33 out of 33 found this review helpful
After reading great reviews about the pmx70 i chose to go with the sennheiser sport pmx80 - primarily because i liked the orange colour over the green.i have only used apple headphones, so this was a major improvement. the package came and at first glance, the headphones seem lighter and more nimble than you would think - it really is quite small.however the fit around your ears are amazing. they stay on, but do not cause discomfort by being too tight. At first you will notice how deep the earpieces go into your ears, which was a new thing - but you get used to it, and it really is better. they are a great fit, and when working out, or sprinting for that matter, these wont budge.as for the sound quality, it lives up to the Sennheiser name. Great amount of bass, and though it isnt noise cancelling, it does a pretty good job at that. they put the apple headphones to shame in terms of sound quality.you will not be disappointed with the sound.it really does glow in the dark too, and i've ran it under water to clean after work outs, and i've had no problems. does exactly what it says it would.the cable is pretty sturdy, and ive onli had it for a week so i cannot see any wear and tear.these are very stylish, and practical headphones, providing you with a comfortable, and stable fit, with great quality sound.i would recommend to any-one looking for headphones that would stay on, athletes especially - they really are water resistant (and sweat resistant...)
great quality product that delivers all that it promises.
Great for running, not good for lying on a bench March 3, 2010 Mr. G. J. Roulston (Derby, UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Very comfortable for me and sounds great. Perfect for running, really secure. Only drawback is that if you are combining running with weights, you will not be able to lean your head back against a bench while wearing these.
But if you are just ordering them for running in then I would highly recommend them as the sound & comfort were great.
Great for the gym February 25, 2010 Macindo (Glasgow) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I use these all the time at the gym, for running and for using weights.
Good fit and comfy, maybe not the best for lying down with, but generally good.
Good sound quality, with good volume.
Only Con being they don't like too much sweat, after a while begin to rust and muffled sound, but keep your receipt as there covered by warranty.
The best headphones for running - end of story! January 27, 2010 J. White (England) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Without a doubt the best earphones if you're into running, whether at the gym or outside.
The bass response is outstanding, both in terms of volume and clarity, even with my 5th generation iPod turned up full. The treble, whilst possibly not as good as my CX550 mk II's is still very good indeed.
But the most impressive aspect for me is the fact that this is quite literally the only pair of earphones that I've bought that I don't have to keep fiddling with, and pushing back into my ears, during a run. They just stay where they are, nice and comfortably, and deliver great sounds. You can't argue with that!
Is there a downside? Well, possibly... in that they don't fold up or come with any protection for when they're not in use. This means that if you put them in your kit bag you should try to protect them from being crushed by your trainers etc.
But that's a small price to pay.... if you like running, these are pretty awesome earphones and very good value for money.
