Very pleased with the purchase of this leather blackberry case, there was one supplied with the phone, but this is far better, nice fit without being to tight, so easy to remove the phone from it's casing, but secure enough not to slip out.

Only had this case a few hours, and I can already tell it's a quality item. It's very high quality real leather, with a subtle badge and stitching and 'BlackBerry' embossed into the back. What the other reviewer was saying about the badge breaking his screen will be a non-issue for 99% of people, as most are intelligent enough not to keep their gadgets in their back pockets and sit on them!
I'd thoroughly recommend this case on build quality alone, and to top that it fits my 8520 VERY well indeed (considering it's not sold as the official case for it!)
Genuine leather case - light saving function July 12, 2010

If you want to get really well made leather case for your BlackBerry for reasonable price. This case has one nice function which is "light saving". When you put your BlackBerry into this case, the light of the display will automatically turn off. When you remove BlackBerry from the case, the light turns on. It won't lock the device, at least it doesn't on my BB 8520.
Small part of the BlackBerry will look out from the case so you can very easily plug in your headphones and check "status led light".
Very nice piece of accessory, although I'm using Otter Box OtterBox Curve Commuter Case for BlackBerry 8520 - Black now, this will stay in my arsenal as a fancy case for receptions, special occasions etc. ;-)

I can only agree with previous reviewers - a jolly nice little item, much nicer than the case supplied with the BB. Putting your BB in your back pocket and then sitting on it is a really dumb idea.
