This is a pricey machine but worth every penny. I work in the IT industry and have always had, built and worked on MS windows machines. I decided to bite the bullet and go for a mac after several of my friends had bought one and I am not dissapointed. This machine sit next to my PC tower and I run both via a 30" samsung screen, PC via vga and mac via DVI. The Mac is quieter, quicker and easier to upgrade (Ihave added 2 1TB HDD for photo, video and music storage). The Controls take some getting used to but once you have the hang of it you will be flying. I wish I had swapped years ago. I still have to keep upto date with the PC side for my work, but I will be a Mac man from now on.

I have the 8 core 12gb of ram version and i can say that it is a lot to spend on a computer and there are some but not many better spec pc's but none of them have mac os or are as built as well as a mac

the mac pro is so fast (especially running snow leopard) starts up in about 7 seconds and sleeps so fast you'll think you turned it off at the plug now iv'e switched over to mac i'm never going back. And why would I need to? mac os x comes with bootcamp so i just run vista 64bit to do gaming on
it runs quietly as said in the other review and the keyboard is such a dream to type on and the mighty mouse has some cool features and makes other mouses feel like resting your hand on ice for a very long time

Excellent condition. First Class Service. Would highly recommend. Alot cheaper than the competition by far.
