great July 11, 2009 Maciej Swiatly 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
small, robust, great 'click', 2x USB (wireless do not have it), no batteries needed (I had wireless and was loosing connection). Overall perfect item.
Does what it says on the box, exceeds expectations September 15, 2009 Rev. David Coleman (Brighton UK) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Using this with a laptop and extended desktop, gets the keyboard where you want it without losing a USB socket. Good low-impact keyboard means you can type really fast. Using a wire makes it more reliable than the bluetooth equivalent which is so hit and miss I wish I hadn't bought it. One moan: shift key slightly sticky.
Wonderful Keyboard! December 30, 2009 Mr. Nicholas Depledge (UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Asthetically it ticks all the right boxes. Its small, solid, easy to use and takes up very little space on the desk. The keys are very easy to type with and produce little fatigue over extended periods of time (Six hours of continuous COD6 should do as a good benchmark!).
There are a few draw backs however... The two inbuilt usb ports are fairly useless. I've got a high spec pc but i still recieve a "low usb power" warning when i plug in a simple usb key. Not to worry though. The only other niggle is that there are some keys which arent present. Delete being a major one! Bringing up the task manager baffled me for a while! However there is a simple key combo: Ctrl + Shift + Esc
Overall this keyboard is brilliant all be it with a few quirks!
A mini marvel December 3, 2009 Elizabeth Tolmie 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a fantastic little keyboard. I never used the number keypad on my previous full-sized keyboards, so don't miss that facility in the least. Like a previous reviewer, I found the lack of a 'delete' key difficult to get used to. But there is a way to make the backspace key perform like a delete key... just hold down the 'fn' key while you press backspace. It then takes two keystrokes to delete... granted... but the facility is there if you want it. For me the tiny footprint is a great space saver, and the feel of the keys as you type is very satisfying. I can't recommend the keyboard highly enough.
Great compact keyboard with excellent keys! April 24, 2010 T. Stones 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This keyboard is a joy to type on with its excellently-spaced chiclet-style keys while still having such a compact size and design - well worth the price, despite Apple products and accessories being generally more expensive. The keyboard doesn't have a delete key because the backspace key generally deals with most of those tasks on the Mac operating system, however if you specifically need to use the actual Delete function possibly in a specific application, press the Fn then Backspace key to act as the actual Delete key. Also to do a "PgUp" and "PgDwn" action, Press the Alt then Up or Down keys. To go to the "top" or "bottom" of the page (also known as Home and End), press the cmd (command / Apple key) then press the up or down arrow keys. The only thing I could say about this keyboard that could be improved is about the caps lock key...you have to press the key down for a split second/momentarily for it to register and activate on, this is to prevent you accidentally tapping the key while typing but even after weeks of ownership I still sometimes forget to press the key down for a split second and just tap it and so sometimes frustratingly the caps lock key isn't activated. Of course it's a simple adjustment that I keep forgetting about, but I'm starting to get use to it - not really an issue too much, but it's an adjustment that at first is sometimes annoying but that doesn't warrant any knock of a star off the rating, as I'm sure it helps others for those that type with all their fingers.
I'd definitely recommend this keyboard, I can't compare this keyboard to anything out there, this is the best I have ever used or seen in my opinion. Very comfortable key stroke, compact design and lightweight and between the keys the keyboard is made from an aesthetically pleasing aluminium, with the back being of a shiny white plastic with rubberised studs at the bottom so the keyboard doesn't move around. The keyboard also comes with a USB port on each side of the keyboard which is to obviously plug in your Apple mouse and USB flash drive, etc - works great. Great purchase!
